道南の七飯町に35年ぶりに2021年春に誕生した蔵元「箱館醸蔵」。
道南で単独の蔵としてはなんと84年ぶりという。
なぜなら最後の七飯町の蔵元は今でも札幌で日本酒を醸している「日本清酒」だからです。この七飯町の「日本清酒」も元々は函館で醸造していた蔵元を七飯町に移転した経緯があります。七飯に蔵元を再興したのは創業100年を超す地元の酒屋「富原商店」です。杜氏は日本最北の酒蔵「国稀酒造」で長年腕を振るっていた東谷浩樹氏。若い時に函館に縁があり住んでいた経緯があり縁もあります。
さらには慣れ親しんだ地域であり気候も地域性も熟知しています。
主要銘柄は「郷宝 ごっほう」。ラベルは極めてスタイリッシュでかっこいい。
良質な七飯町の水をふんだんに使い、「淡麗旨口」の酒造りを目指しています。
The brewery “Hakodate Jozo” was born in the spring of 2021 in Nanae-cho, southern Hokkaido for the first time in 35 years.It is said that it is the first time in 84 years for a single sake brewery in Southern Hokkaido.
This is because the last brewery in Nanae-cho is “Nippon Seishu,” which still brews sake in Sapporo city. This “Nippon Seishu” in Nanae Town also has a history of moving the brewery originally brewed in Hakodate city to Nanae Town.
The brewery was revived in Nanae by the local liquor store “Tomihara Shoten:Liquer Shop”, which has been in business for over 100 years.
Mr. Hiroki Higashiya Brewing manager who has been exercising his skills for many years at the northernmost sake brewery in Japan, “Kunimare Brewery” in MasikeTown.
He had a connection with Hakodate when he was young, and he have a history of living Hakodate city.Furthermore, it is a familiar area and is familiar with the climate and regional characteristics.The main brand is “Gohho “which means “Hometown treasure”. The label is extremely stylish and cool.He is aiming to make sake with “smooth and refreshing and Umami” by using plenty of high quality water from Nanae Town.
